What do we do?
If you are interested in cake decorating or any aspect of sugarcraft, then Glossop and District British Sugarcraft Guild is here for you.
We normally meet on the first Friday of each month at 7.30 p.m. at Bradbury Community House, Market Street, Glossop, SK13 8AR. Tea or coffee and biscuits are included in the admission price (currently £3 for members, £3.50 for visiting members, £4 for non members), and we also hold a raffle.
As part of the British Sugarcraft Guild, Glossop BSG was formed in 1985 and is just one of around 144 branches in the country. Membership at Glossop costs £31 a year which includes a quarterly magazine, access to the BSG national website and the forums and advice it offers, together with the opportunity to take out cake insurance at a reduced rate.
Glossop BSG prides itself on its warm welcome, and its members, who are more than willing to share their knowledge and help or give advice to newcomers.
